About Lucy

Lucy Palmer Boutique was named after my grandmother. (that’s why my logo is a heart. Because I loved Lucy!) My grandmother’s house was more like a museum. She had a “music room” home of her Steinway piano and organ (this is where all 13 grandchildren spearheaded the sing a longs at Christmas time), a dark room (she loved photography) a “play room” (that’s where I played dress up) and my favorite area…the jewelry room.

She collected antiques and loved to garden. Lucile (that’s her real name) received her Masters degree in the heart of the depression from the University of Oregon. You can see why she was a source of inspiration!

I have been “playing store” all of my life but now I play it for real! Until leaving my corporate world (Real Estate & Finance), I just dabbled in my passion. 18 years ago I started my business by doing jewelry trunk shows. I sold my jewelry at Boutiques, Nordstrom’s stores, and, my jewelry was in the gift shop at the Museum of Fine Arts in Santa Fe, New Mexico. Over the years I have expanded my business to include my love for home décor, gifts and entertaining.

I love what I do and my promise to my clients is whether you are working with one of my wonderful employees or are working with me directly, you’ll get a little piece of “Lucy” in everything we do.

Thank you for visiting my site!
